- Day 1Paperwork and Social Security Number
We review the required documents beforehand and accompany the first administrative procedures after arrival, including the Social Security Number where applicable — one of the first steps toward establishing the family's financial and administrative life in the United States. From there, we organize the next steps according to each family's situation.
- Day 2Bank and phone
Guidance choosing the right bank for your case, opening the account, and setting up a phone plan in your name.
- Day 3Kids' school
Organizing the documentation needed for enrollment, including proof of residency, vaccination records and a translated transcript — handled together with Landfall Translation when documents require certified translation. We also guide you on school transport, schedules and the first steps of the kids' routine.
- Days 4–5Car
Researching options that fit the family's profile, reviewing the vehicle's history, and an independent inspection. We support the negotiation and guide you through insurance, registration and paperwork.
- Days 6–10Driver's license
Florida requires every new resident to obtain a local driver's license within 30 days of establishing residency, with documents that meet the federal Real ID standard: identity, proof of Social Security Number, and two proofs of residency. We guide you through the requirements that apply to your case, scheduling where needed, preparation for the written test, and support through each step of getting the license.
